Digital Prodigy is currently seeking a Software Quality Control Manager to lead the build-out of SW QC for the new QC business unit. This position will combine both hands-on software development and QC background with experience managing small project teams involved in web based application implementation, QC and deployment. You and your staff will be responsible for the defining efficient and comprehensive QC procedures and implementing those on specific QC projects. |

| Responsibilities: |
- Overall QC methodology framework, validation processes and associated SOPs. Assist in quality assessments of our projects and development practices (e.g. validation in an Agile SW development context).
- Work closely with project managers and team leads to help define and specify requirements, and to improve the quality of their requirements artifacts from the QC perspective.
- Review customer requirements and participate in review meetings where appropriate.
Develop and review test plans, test procedures, test scripts and test reports, ensuring that these are appropriate for product/project validation.
- Black and White box testing for functional, regression, performance, stress and scalability.
- Experience with, and evaluation and recommendation of automated test and test case management tools.
- Train QC staff in the specifics of your QC process framework for the Implementation and Platform Development Software SDLC and in the use of the associated templates and tools. Develop QC process inline with our ISO 9001:2000 quality processes.
- Work closely with the Project Managers, Clinical Solutions Analysts and Implementation Engineers to ensure that customer requirements are clear, unambiguous and complete.
- Supervise the quality of work of SW QC staff and ensure compliance with all SOPs.

| Qualifications: |
- BS / MS in computer sciences. Intelligent dropouts are also considered.
|

|
|
| Skills Requirements: |
- 3+ Years experience writing test plans, test procedures, test cases.
- 3+ Years in a technical QC role as a software tester or developer, with 2+ years in web testing.
- Experience managing the QC of web applications based on the Microsoft’s .NET framework, SQL, C# and ASP.NET, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, Visual Studio)
In-depth understanding of QC tools, processes, and procedures.
- In-depth understanding of Black Box, White Box, Performance and Load testing methodologies for .NET web-based applications.
- Organized with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- An enthusiastic, winning, can-do attitude.
